Head Coach:

The Head Coach role is one of great impact and commitment. At each level, it is the head coach's job to be the galvanizer to empower and instill in each player the joy and elements of the game. The head coach oversees the practices and games, coordination of planning and scheduling, and is the point of contact for the entire team. It is encouraged that head coaches have a practice plan for each practice and play to the guidelines and recommendations for their league level. The head coach is to set the example and exhibit proper character and leadership on and off the field. Being a head coach is extremely rewarding and provides a lifetime of impact for the players.

Assistant Coach:

The Assistant Coach is second in command and should be a positive advocate for both the player and head coach. He or she is to provide assistance to the head coach, fill in when necessary, provide insight and advice, as well as being the reinforcement for proper character and discipline of the game. Assistant Coaches are often in the dugout keeping things moving, preparing players for at bats (with younger age groups), and being a short distance away from the head coach to jump in.

Team Manager:

The Team Manager is someone who is willing to provide order in the dugout, or pinch hit in the event that a coach is absent. This could involve calling out the batting order, providing snacks and water to the players, coordinating the team fundraising goals and accomplishments, or just seeking the need and running to it.

General Volunteer:

There are multiple general volunteering roles within the league such as working in the snack shack, providing assistance with field maintenance, or assisting with fundraising efforts. The board of directors would consider it a privilege to hear from you.
